After a career marred by scandals, a cancelled football star finds himself back where it all began: in his home village’s local league. Whilst he dreams of a big comeback, his teammates are mainly interested in who’s going to pick up the tab after training. And, of all people, it is those he had long since forgotten who show him what community and solidarity really mean.
